Advantages of split solar street lights:
I. Structural Layout: Components are independently separated, and installation positions are flexible
This is the most fundamental and core feature of the split-type solar street lamp. Its three core components, namely solar panels, lamps and batteries, are not integrated into the same lamp post or bracket, but can be independently installed according to the actual scene requirements.
Solar panels: They can be independently fixed in areas with the best light conditions, such as independent brackets beside roads, rooftops of surrounding buildings, hillsides and high ground, etc., without being affected by the obstruction of the installation position of the lamps. In some scenarios, multiple solar panels can also be combined and installed to increase power generation.
Lamps: They can be installed closely against road guardrails, walls or low poles, and are especially suitable for areas with narrow roads and limited high-altitude space (such as alleys in old urban areas and footpaths in scenic spots), avoiding the excessive space occupied by the tall structure of "lamp post + solar panel".
Battery: It can be placed separately in a waterproof box at the bottom of the lamp post, an underground pre-buried box or a concealed location around it. There is no need to share the same installation space with solar panels or lamps. This not only protects the battery from direct sunlight and rain but also reduces the load on the top of the lamp post.
This separated layout completely breaks the limitation that "components must be installed centrally", and is suitable for various complex terrains and spatial conditions.
2. energy utilization: Efficient light collection and pure green attributes
Relying on the structural advantage of component separation, split-type solar street lamps exhibit dual characteristics of "high efficiency" and "environmental friendliness" in energy utilization:

3. Environmental Adaptability: Strong stress resistance and outstanding stability

Strong resistance to extreme weather: In areas prone to typhoons, integrated street lamps, due to the concentration of solar panels and lamps on the top, are easily blown over by the wind because of their "top-heavy" nature. The solar panels of the split street lamps can be fixed by lightweight brackets. The lamps adopt a compact design, which disperses the force points and significantly enhances the wind resistance. In high-temperature areas, the battery can be installed separately in a cool place (such as the waterproof box at the bottom of a lamp post) to avoid capacity attenuation caused by long-term exposure to the sun and extend its service life. In areas with frequent rain and fog, some products will also apply anti-fog coating treatment to the solar panels to ensure the efficiency of light absorption.
The affected area of the fault is small: If the solar panel has problems such as glass breakage or aging, only the solar panel needs to be replaced separately, without disassembling the entire street lamp. Similarly, when the lamps or batteries malfunction, they can be repaired specifically, avoiding the problem of "one fault and the entire street being shut down" of integrated street lamps. Initial procurement cost: Due to the component separation design and the possible involvement of independent brackets, wiring (connection lines between components), etc., the initial procurement and installation cost is slightly higher than that of integrated solar street lamps, but much lower than that of traditional municipal street lamps (traditional street lamps need to bear additional costs such as cable laying and pipeline excavation).
Long-term cost advantage: First, it saves electricity bills. It is completely dependent on solar energy and has no subsequent electricity expenses. If 100 street lamps are installed in one area, the annual electricity bill savings can reach tens of thousands of yuan. Second, it reduces maintenance costs. The split structure makes targeted maintenance convenient, reducing the overall replacement cost. Moreover, high-quality solar panels have a service life of 15 to 20 years and batteries 5 to 8 years.
